Egypt’s National Council for Women (NCW) has congratulated Professor Heba Nassar and Professor Nadia Zakhary following their appointment to the Board of Trustees of Cairo University National University, describing the decision as another milestone for women’s leadership in higher education and scientific research.
The appointments, approved by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, recognize two of Egypt’s most accomplished academic leaders and reinforce the country’s continued commitment to increasing women’s representation in strategic decision-making positions.

Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women, together with the Council’s members and Vice President, extended their congratulations to Professor Heba Nassar, former Vice President of Cairo University, and Professor Nadia Zakhary, former Minister of Scientific Research.
The Council praised both women for their distinguished academic careers and longstanding contributions to education, research, and national development.
