The National Council for Women launched the activities of a camp for case managers at the Women’s Complaints Office to raise awareness about mental health and manage cases of violence against women.
The Council organized the camp in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The camp, launched on July 13, is set to last for 4 days, from 13-16 July 2023
It aims to support the capabilities of workers in the complaints line of the National Council for Women “No. 15115”, psychologically and technically, through activities that help them relieve pressure, prevent job burnout, and protect them from re-traumatization. It also provides them with technical skills in dealing with calls received by the hotline and managing cases of violence against women they receive daily.
Moreover, the camp includes a discussion of many topics such as responsibility, roles and their impact on mental health, and how to deal with different types of callers.
