Last Wednesday, Tourism Minister Ahmed Isa opened the Egyptian pavilion at the ITB Berlin with the accompaniment of South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda and Egyptian Ambassador in Berlin Khaled Galal Abdel Hamid.
About 100 Egyptian hotels and travel agencies participate in the exhibition, the biggest at the international level.
Around 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries are set to participate in the exhibition, which is visited by 160,000 people.
The pavilion this year promotes several tourism destinations that are not at the core of the Germans’ interest.
In statements to MENA, the CEO of Ain Sokhna Hotels Chain Khaled Abu Ali said: Today, we are promoting the importance of Ain Sokhna as a key destination close to Cairo so that tourists visiting Cairo can travel to Ain Sokhna.
The Egyptian pavilion also promoted the new Egyptian museum.
