Misr Public Library (El-Zawya EL-Hamra branch) is collaborating with the Information Centre North and East Cairo of the General Information Authority to hold a symposium on International Women’s Day. The symposium, titled “The Aspirations and Challenges of Egyptian Women in the Light of Vision 2030”, will feature presentations by several psychology professors.
The upcoming symposium is being moderated by Dr. Saad Abu Zeid, who holds the esteemed position of Director of the Library. The symposium is set to address several important themes, including identifying opportunities and challenges for women and identifying steps to achieve Vision 2030. This initiative seeks to promote gender equality and facilitate progress in empowering women across all areas.
The symposium is being organized by the Egyptian Public Library to observe International Women’s Day, which falls on 8 March every year. The event will showcase cultural exhibits and activities that aim to highlight the roles, challenges, and achievements of women in Egyptian society. It also aims to provide a platform for individuals and groups working on women’s issues to connect and collaborate towards achieving their aspirations.
