Sultan of Oman to Witness Signing of 6 MoUs with Egypt on 1st Official Visit to Cairo

Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik will witness the signing of 6 MoUs for cooperation between the two countries during his first official visit to Egypt that starts on Sunday, according to Oman’s Ambassador to Cairo Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi. 

In statements to the Middle East News Agency (MENA) on Saturday, Ambassador Al-Rahbi explained that the MoUs will be for cooperation in the fields of education, judiciary, archives, heritage, transportation, aviation,

 and taxation.

Mention that, in 2022, the two countries signed nine MoUs for cooperation in various fields during President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s visit to Muscat, which was his first visit to the Arab Gulf nation since Sultan Haitham ascended to the throne in 2020, according to the “Ahram Online” website.
