SIS-Egypt Releases First Quarterly Bulletin monitoring human rights’ progress

Egypt’s State Information Service (SIS) released its first periodical Human Rights Bulletin for the fourth quarter of 2022, detailing the efforts of the country towards upholding and protecting human rights, according to Ahram Online.

The quarterly bulletin monitors, documents, and evaluates Egypt’s human rights achievements within the context of the National Human Rights Strategy, which President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi launched in September 2021.

The report includes 12 sections, each one is being concerned with a sector in society and its challenges, the most significant sections are Women’s rights, social security, right to work, right to health, right to adequate housing, rights of persons with disabilities, right to food, and rights of elderly persons.
