The “She Can” Foundation, headed by Dr. Doaa Zahran, launched a training course entitled “They Are Pioneers” with the participation of several active women leaders in society, with the aim of building women’s social, health, and economic skills and knowledge in order to achieve their full potential within their families, communities, and country.
For his part, the strategic planning trainer, Walid Fawzi, stressed that the Egyptian state always emphasizes that total stability and progress won’t be achieved until we ensure the effective participation of women in all aspects of national work.
He further pointed out that there is a special program in the Department of Job Creation and Enterprise Development concerned with developing entrepreneurial spirit to advance women’s entrepreneurial spirit and integrate gender issues into the activities of this department.
Fawzi added that the Technical Cooperation Committee in 2005 recommended that all cooperation programs and projects be integrated. In addition, the committee organized activities related to women’s entrepreneurial spirit, which became a priority item for the African region during the biennium (2006 and 2007).
Moreover, there is a special program in the Department of Job Creation and Enterprise Development on the topic of “Developing the entrepreneurial spirit of women and gender equality.
