The Aswan branch of the National Council for Women is actively pursuing the promotion of economic and social empowerment. The primary objective of their efforts is to implement the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family, which was launched by the esteemed President Sisi. Their focus is on providing support and resources for the “Haya Karima” presidential initiative.

Dr. Hoda Mostafa, the Rapporteur of the National Council for Women in Aswan, has announced the commencement of the second phase of financial education training. This training aims to promote the economic empowerment of women. The awareness-raising training programs have been carried out in various villages, including Benban and Al-Tuwaisa of the Kom Daraw Center, and Faris and Fatirah villages of the Kom Ombo Centre, in partnership with the esteemed elders of al-Azhar al-Sharif.

The Council Branch is engaged in various activities aimed at promoting positive outlook methods, organizing debates on population issues, underage marriage, reproductive health, female genital mutilation, and proper upbringing of children. These efforts have the potential to contribute significantly to the advancement of families through cultural intervention, awareness-raising, and education. Additionally, they serve to enhance awareness of dealing with all societal issues.

The branch of the Council is dedicated to promoting a positive outlook towards the future of women and their roles in society. As part of this commitment, the organization regularly conducts discussion sessions on a range of important issues such as population control, underage marriage, reproductive health, female genital mutilation, and proper child-rearing practices. These sessions aim to improve family dynamics through cultural, educational, and awareness-raising interventions and to foster a greater understanding of how to address various societal issues.
