NCW Congratulates Winners of the State Awards for Appreciation & Excellence

The National Council for Women, headed by Dr. Maya Morsi, has recently congratulated all the winners of the State Awards of “Appreciation, Excellence and Encouragement” in the fields of arts, literature, and social sciences.

According to Akhbar El-Youm, the awards were announced during a press conference held after the 70th meeting of the Supreme Council of Culture.

Dr. Morsi expressed her happiness and pride in all the winners, emphasizing their significant roles and contributions in their respective fields.

She also highlighted the achievements of Egyptian women and girls, showcasing their talent and capability to excel in various fields. She also emphasized the strength and success of Egyptian women.

The State Award of Merit in Arts was granted to Dr. Gharaa Muhanna, while the State Award for Excellence in the field of Arts went to Dr. Azza Badr in social sciences, both Dr. Omnia Helmy and Dr. Samia Qadri received awards.

Furthermore, the State Encouragement Awards were granted to Maha Jamil Abdel Karim in the mural arts branch and to Nouran Mahdi Abdel Aziz for her research entitled: The body between the real and the digital in theatrical dance performances.

Additionally, Fatima Muhammad Ahmed Al-Sharif won in the field of literature for her collection of short stories entitled “When the World Goes Away,” and Reem Ahmed Al-Manji won in the classical and colloquial poetry branch for her collection of poems entitled “Rawaeh Zain.
