Minister Rania Al Mashat Lauds China Exim Bank’s Participation in Implementing LRT Project

On Friday, July 14, the Minister of International Cooperation, Rania Al Mashat, discussed with China Exim Bank or Export-Import Bank of China’s Chairman Wu Fulin the development cooperation portfolio and distinguished economic relations between a group of major Chinese investors and private sector companies working in the field of infrastructure, climate action, green transformation, communications, and information technology.

The diplomat held the meeting at the headquarters of the Egyptian Embassy in Beijing as part of the activities of her visit to China to participate in the activities of the high-level forum.

Ambassador Assem Hanafi, the Egyptian Ambassador to the Republic of the People’s Republic of China, and many officials attended the meeting.

Mashat discussed means to advance international action for mutual development to boost mechanisms for implementing the “Global Development Initiative” put forward by the Chinese President in 2021.

Meanwhile, she said the meeting aimed to strengthen global development efforts to confront shocks facing different countries through multilateral cooperation.
