In a press conference, Tourism and Antiquities Minister Ahmed Issa announced a bundle of facilities related to issuing tourism visas to attract more tourists to visit Egypt, highlighting plans to increase the number of tourists to 30 M by 2028.
He added that facilities will be given to tourists coming from China, India, Algeria, Morocco, Iraq, Iran, Israel, and Turkey.
Issa further explained that this year witnessed a 30% increase in visits to Egyptian tourist destinations in January and February compared to the same period in 2022, promising that the tourism sector will flourish in the coming period.
