Media Personality Rania Hashem Demands Better Opportunities for Women in Media

Journalist and Media Personality Rania Hashem, a member of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, expressed her utmost honor to be chosen and appointed as a council member by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, noting that the president is a supporter of women and their empowerment.

During her speech at the symposium organized by the Media Syndicate under the title, she said: What do media professionals want from the next president? The next president is required to empower female media professionals and increase media positions for women, explaining that women have the right to be present in the coming period.

Hashem stressed that women have the right to take their places, be supported, have greater opportunities with continuous evaluation, and take their position in media positions, side by side with men within the framework of gender equality, especially since they have already achieved success.

She further shared her hope to witness a larger percentage of women professionals in the field shortly.
