Maya Morsi Witnesses Launching the Arab Women’s Song to Empower Arab Women

Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the Supreme Council of the Arab Women Organization and President of the National Council for Women, took part in the launch of the Arab Women’s Song produced by the Arab Women’s Organization to empower Arab women.

Dr. Fadia Kiwan, Director General of the Arab Women Organization, and several female ministers, heads of national mechanisms for Arab women, and representatives of member states also attended the launch ceremony, highlighting its significance, according to Al youm 7.

Dr. Maya Morsi expressed her pride and joy at participating in the launch of the first song for Arab women. She thanked the Arab Women’s Organization for the idea of launching the first song specifically for Arab women to express their issues, challenges, and aspirations.

She pointed out that the song’s release coincides with the challenges women in many Arab countries are facing at different levels. She shared her hopes for a future where the Arab region is free of conflicts, wars, or occupation and always enjoys security, stability, and prosperity.

She also expressed her desire for Palestine to enjoy the right to self-determination and the establishment of a Palestinian state with its capital in Jerusalem and for the people of Palestine to enjoy freedom, security, and peace.

Morsi concluded her speech by wishing the song every success and hoping it resonates in support of women’s issues at the Arab and international levels.
