The Women’s World Team Squash Championship 2022 was announced to be taking place at Madinaty Sports Club in association with Talaat Mostafa Group (TMG) between the 10th and 16th of December.

Besides having top-notch sports facilities and infrastructure that meet the highest international standards, there are around 11 state-of-the-art squash courts at Madinaty Sports Club, which is why the club was charged by the World Squash Federation (WSF) to host the championship. The semi-finals and Finals are set to take place at the main glass court that can hold up to 1500 spectators.

The tournament consists of 17 teams, each of which includes 4 international players. The national team of Egypt will participate with four of its most accomplished international players, Nouran Gohar, the world’s number one squash player, in addition to Nour El-Sherbini, the world’s second, Hania El-Hammamy, the world’s third, and Nour El-Tayeb, world’s sixth.

Considerably, it’s such a great honor for Talaat Mostafa Group to be hosting major sporting events that bring together the finest, most celebrated athletes in the world; the WFC Women’s World Team Squash Championship 2022 is no exception.

Moreover, Egypt hosted the international series barely a month ago, which makes Madinaty and Egypt by extension a global destination for hosting worldwide international sports events.

TMG’s project portfolio has started numerous sports and social clubs, and will additionally offer integrated services to its customers, including sports activities, in an attempt to promote residents to be physically active.
