by Nada Khaled

Yuula Benivolski, a filmmaker, declared that she had filed to renounce her Israeli citizenship after witnessing the escalation of the Israeli aggression in Palestine, especially Gaza.

Benivolski stated that she decided to give up her Israeli citizenship immediately in response to Israel’s horrifying attack on Gaza, particularly given the fact that the death toll has reached unimaginably high levels.

Benivolski further clarified that she began to consider giving up her Israeli citizenship as soon as she learned about the true history of Israel, which was completely different from what was taught to her in school.
