Egypt’s Housing Minister Sherif al-Sherbiny and Giza Governor Adel al-Naggar recently reviewed a comprehensive renovation plan for the area surrounding the iconic pyramids ahead of broader preparations for the highly anticipated opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).

He stressed that the area’s significance as a global tourist attraction necessitates a thorough overhaul to provide visitors with an exceptional experience.
Governor Naggar pledged the full cooperation of the Giza Governorate with all relevant ministries and agencies to ensure the project’s success. By working together, they aim to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for tourists visiting this historic archaeological site.
