According to Palestinian media reports citing Iranian sources, Ismail Haniyeh was reportedly assassinated by a missile aimed directly at his body.
The Islamic Resistance Movement released a statement today mourning the head of its Political Bureau, Martyr Leader Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh, referring to the attack on Haniyeh’s residence as “a treacherous Zionist raid.”
The assassination reportedly occurred during an Israeli raid on his residence in Tehran, Iran. Al-Qahera News TV channel cited the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in reporting the killing of Ismail Haniyeh and his companion Wassim Abu Shaaban in Tehran.
