GAH, GETINGE Sign MoU to Establish Training Academy

The General Authority for Healthcare (GAH) signed on Saturday, April 8, a memorandum of understanding with Getinge Group Middle East.

The MoU aims to promote cooperation in the areas of hospital transformation, digital solutions, and training development by establishing an academy (EHA GETINGE ACADEMY) and cooperating in transferring GETINGE expertise in the complete mechanization of operations departments.

In a statement, GAH head Ahmed Al Sobky described the MoU as a fresh beginning point for technical support and digital transformation for managing operations departments at Egyptian hospitals.

He added: The agreement represents an essential step to fulfilling the authority’s objective of cyber inclusion and digital transformation of all medical and administrative services.

For his part, the Swedish ambassador to Cairo praised GAH’s efforts to strengthen cooperation between Egypt and Sweden in the field of health care, emphasizing the continuation of further cooperation between the two countries, which contributes to enhancing health investments for leading Swedish companies in the medical sector in Egypt.
