Earlier today, the largest electronic payment company in Egypt, Fawry, stressed, in a statement, the effectiveness and security of its electronic defenses on all its platforms and for all electronic services it offers.
The statement stated: There is no validity to any rumors circulating on social media pages claiming that Fawry has been the target of attacks or breaches of information systems. No breaches of client data were found.
According to Amwal Al Ghad’s website, Fawry stressed that it instantly looked into its servers and live-streamed. The company further stated that no breaches have been discovered on the servers that serve banks and customers based on its testing.
Moreover, the company affirms that no client banking or financial information has been compromised. In addition, the business claims that it complies with all international regulatory bodies’ cybersecurity criteria by upholding the strictest standards possible.
