Environment Ministry Prioritizes Creating Promising Investment Opportunities in Waste Sector

Egypt’s Minister of Environment, Yasmine Fouad, confirmed yesterday that her ministry strongly seeks to create more promising investment opportunities in the waste management sector in partnership with the private sector, civil society, and entrepreneurs.

Her remarks came while reviewing a report on the most recent advancements in the ministry’s role in implementing the municipal solid waste management system on Saturday, July 29, 2023. 

According to the minister, the recently built unit would investigate lucrative investment opportunities and foster lines of communication between financial institutions, the private sector, and business owners.

She added: Serious efforts are focused on promoting environment and climate investment chances in general and establishing a new environment and climate investment unit under the ministry’s umbrella.
