The Minister of Social Solidarity expressed her happiness to be present in the corridors of the Council, where she worked for eight years. During this time, she was honored to work with the Council’s members, rapporteurs, and members of its branches in the governorates, its committees, and its General Secretariat.
Maya emphasized that the National Council for Women’s accomplishments during her eight years of presidency resulted from a collective effort involving all members of the Council, the general secretariat, and the Council’s committees and branches in the governorates.
This collaborative effort has helped to establish a positive image of Egyptian women internationally. Dr. Morsy also emphasized the importance of genuine partnerships with all state agencies and institutions, including the National Council for Women and the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, to achieve success in any endeavor.
