Egyptian Immigration Minister, Soha Gendy, announced on Monday that the New Republic has introduced unparalleled incentives to attract businessmen and encourage investments in Egypt, as discussed during her meeting with Netsync’s board chairman, Tamer Hedayet.
The concept of an expat investment company was also highlighted, as the minister stressed the importance of engaging Egyptian expats and informing them about available investment prospects in their home country. Gendy referred to the expat investment company as a significant achievement for her ministry, which will be managed by Egyptians residing abroad, while the Ministry will offer logistical support in coordination with relevant entities.
Hedayet expressed Egypt’s promising investment opportunities and highlighted the economic and legislative reforms, along with tax deductions in various industries. He, further, expressed his commitment to contribute to the national economy and provide employment opportunities for the youth by injecting more investments into Egypt.
