The Egyptian Youth Council announced the opening of the registration door for active women leaders in Egyptian civil society organizations wishing to participate in the fourteenth edition of the program “Towards Active Women Leaders in Civil Society”, as part of the joint cultural agreement between the Egyptian government and the German government, ratified by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian Parliament, and within the framework of Foreign Ministry Resolution No. 376 of 2023.
The program comes within the framework of the fruitful cooperation between the Egyptian Youth Council and the German Friedrich Naumann Foundation. It aims to work on strengthening the capabilities of women leaders in Egyptian civil society organizations.
Moreover, the program includes several important training programs, namely:
- The legal framework regulating civil work in Egypt
- Means of communication, communication, and team management
- Methods of positive influence and motivation
- Leadership styles and skills
- Management of institutions, projects, and initiatives
- Strategic Planning
- Writing projects
- Networking and managing joint efforts
The Egyptian Youth Council stated that these training programs are carried out by a group of specialists and experts at the regional and international levels, and will take place on the 25th and 26th of July. It is set to be one of the largest certified hotels in Cairo and includes distinguished women.
The Egyptian Youth Council and the German Friedrich Naumann Foundation bear all the costs of the program without charging the participants any fees under any name.
Within this framework, the Egyptian Youth Council also announced the opening of the door for civil society organizations to apply to participate in the program by nominating one of the female cadres from the first-line leaders and decision-makers in each organization, provided that the attached form is filled out with all the required data.
