Egypt’s Nour El Tayeb, along with Karim Abdel Gawad, is the 2023 Ace Malaysia Squash Cup champion, after defeating Rachel Arnold, the fifth-seeded woman, at the S2 Sports Complex in Seremban.
Like her teammate Gawad, this is El-Tayeb’s second title of the season after her South Western Open win last month.
The top-seeded player in the women’s division, El Tayeb, defeated Arnold in just 19 minutes to win her 15th PSA championship.
Nour’s next stop on the PSA World Tour will be the Singapore Squash Open, the PSA World Tour Gold event, which will take place between November 14-19.
Following her victory against Arnold in the final match, El-Tayeb said: I think I’ve been playing well all week, so it’s nice to play well today.
