Egyptian Researcher Sanaa El-Sayed, an assistant lecturer in the Geology Department at the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, has achieved a remarkable scientific accomplishment by receiving the “Goldring” Award from the Geological Society.
She has an impressive track record of research accomplishments, having contributed to over 13 international research papers published in leading scientific journals, including the Geology Journal.
In this journal, she discussed ancient global warming, which occurred approximately 56 million years ago and is similar to current climate changes. Moreover, she participated in the discovery of the Mansoura dinosaur in 2018.
El-Sayed’s academic excellence has been further demonstrated by obtaining a scholarship from the Egyptian government to pursue her doctoral studies at the University of Michigan, USA.
Her achievements extend to winning numerous international and local awards in the field, including the American Association of University Women Award in 2023, which recognizes her excellence in vertebrate paleontology.
