Egyptian Pound Unstable Against US Dollar in Major Egyptian Banks

The Egyptian pound (EGP) showed fluctuations against the US dollar (USD) as trading began on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

The National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and the Commercial International Bank (CIB) have set their rates at EGP 48.32 for buying and EGP 48.42 for selling, according Amwal Al Ghad.

On the other hand, the Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt also listed rates of EGP 48.32 for buying and EGP 48.42 for selling.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) offered rates of EGP 48.36 for buying and EGP 48.46 for selling, while the Arab African International Bank posted rates of EGP 48.32 for buying and EGP 48.42 for selling.

Lastly, QNB ALAHLI provided rates of EGP 48.34 for buying and EGP 48.44 for selling.
