Egyptian Lawyer Gihan Thomas Takes Part in Drafting 4 American Laws

Gihan Thomas, an Egyptian lawyer on the list of the most influential women in the state of California, USA, shared that she participated in the development of 4 laws in America, and argued in several important cases in the Ninth Circuit, which is the largest circuit in the United States of America.

The California-based lawyer revealed her role in drafting 4 laws in the United States of America, saying: “I fought numerous legal battles before the Ninth Circuit of the Constitutional Court until I succeeded in drafting the “Viridiana v. Holder” law concerning asylum and immigration issues, the “Sumolang v. Holder” law related to seeking protection if you or your family members are subjected to abuse, in addition to the “CHANDRA v. HOLDER” law.

Counselor Gihan Thomas was a guest on “Al youm 7” TV and said that she won the (Top Lawyer) and (Super Lawyer) awards in the years 2022, 2021, 2020, 2018, and 2019 after her prominent victory in thousands of cases in the field of immigration and nationality.

Moreover, she received the (Top Women Attorneys in Southern California) award, granted by the famous American magazine “Los Angeles”.

It is noteworthy that Thomas graduated from the Faculty of Arts, English Department, Alexandria University, studied law in California, and obtained the most important lawyer for five years in California.
