Farida Osman, the legendary Egyptian swimmer, Farida Osman,  once again conquers the waters, winning the African Gold Medal and becoming the fastest woman in African Games history.

With a time of 24.72 seconds in the Women’s 50m freestyle event, she wins gold and sets an African Games record.

Osman, known as Egypt and Africa’s fastest female swimmer, isn’t afraid to smash record after record. Before the African Games, she won her second medal at the Mediterranean Games and set a new Mediterranean Games record of 25.48 seconds in the 50m Butterfly event.

She had previously won medals in the All-Africa Games and the Mediterranean Games. She has also won two Olympic and World bronze medals in swimming.

Given Osman’s continued dominance in the sport and his participation in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, we believe the athlete will break even more records and make history.
