The Central Administration for Incoming Students at the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has approved the deferral of tuition fees for Palestinian students studying from Gaza for the current academic year, according to an announcement made by the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo.

Moreover, the Supreme Council of Universities decision decided on October 28, that Palestinian students will also receive enrollment certificates to submit to the General Administration for Passports, Immigration, and Nationality.

According to a statement released on Friday, the students will further receive enrollment certificates for submission to the General Administration for Passports, Immigration, and Nationality following the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities, which dates back to October 28, 2023.

This initiative recognizes the difficult conditions that the Palestinian people are forced to endure as a result of the occupying forces’ ethnic cleansing, genocide, and aggressive Israeli attacks, as reported by the Palestinian News Agency “WAFA.”

Egypt and the Ministry of Scientific Research were commended for their ongoing efforts to lessen the difficulties faced by Palestinian students in light of these challenging circumstances.
