Egypt Signs Three Green Investments MoUs

According to a statement released by the Ministry of the Environment on September 12th, Egypt has recently signed three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on promoting green investments during the nation’s inaugural Climate and Environment Investment Forum.

In order to advance waste management collaboration, the Waste Management Regulatory Authority (WMRA), the KIT Innovation Hub, and Green Build Egypt have signed the first Memorandum of Understanding.

The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) and two German companies, INTEC Rubber Powder and RECOM Patent and License, have signed a second Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a joint venture (JV) in Cairo called “AOI – INTEC Egypt” for recycling tires of all kinds.

Green Planet Solutions and the Emirati ZERO CARBON Limited have signed a third Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on operating scalable technical solutions for decarbonization.
