The second edition of the annual Egypt Mining Forum, organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, will take place starting tomorrow, from July 18 to 19, under the theme “Building upon 120 years of geological discoveries for a decarbonized and sustainable future.”
The Forum is witnessing the presence of international leaders and experts. It sheds light on the investment opportunities in the Egyptian mining sector, which is witnessing unprecedented transformations in its legislation and procedures.
Moreover, it will highlight the road map for the future of mining in Egypt, as well as the investment and partnerships as key factors to unlock the potential of the mining sector.
The Forum encompasses 40+ speakers, including the H.E THE Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek Al-Molla, the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, along with a number of mining ministers, high-level representatives of states and CEOs.
Al Molla stated that the forum would explore the current potentials of the Egyptian mining industry, as well as lay out the latest advancements in rules, licensing procedures, regulations, investment, and exploration prospects.
The event will examine strategies for tackling global and industrial challenges, accelerating dialogue on technology and sustainability contribution, and access to vital information to secure projects and create investments. It also emphasizes the mining industries’ worldwide advancements, opportunities, difficulties, and initiatives to cut emissions while achieving a green transition.
Furthermore, 2,000+ decision-makers will be participating in the forum. It provides participants with opportunities to communicate and hold new business partnerships and highlights Egypt’s financing roadmap and the future of investment and partnerships as key factors in unlocking the mining sector’s potential.
The Egypt Mining Forum will also feature a dynamic exhibition area, hosting 50 exhibitors and 34 sponsors representing various sectors across the mining value chain.
