Press Release

by Nada Khaled

Forbes Middle East has recently published a comprehensive list of the most influential Fintech companies in the region. The list features a diverse range of entities including e-payment firms, open banking platforms, and investment and savings applications.

The list of classified companies is dominated by Egypt, which has 13 firms, followed by the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, each with 11 companies. In total, these three countries make up 70% of the list.

Forbes has announced that their list of top companies will be based on several factors. These include the value of financing received from investors and venture capital companies, the evaluation of the company itself, the volume of transactions carried out through digital channels in 2023, the number of active users, the impact the company has on individual consumers and businesses, the number of countries in which the company operates, and the growth and expansion achieved during the past year.
