Egypt Inks MoU with Turkey to Boost Medical Tourism Cooperation

On Thursday, August 17, The Turkish-Arab Countries Business Association (TÜRAP) and Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance their cooperation in the field of medical tourism and develop healthcare investment prospects between the two nations.

During the signing event Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Authority, stated: Medical tourism has seen an unprecedented boom in terms of developing hospital infrastructure and information technology, enhancing medical capabilities, and providing comprehensive medical care to citizens.

According to El- Sobky’s statement, the MoU will make it easier for the EHA to reach 29 nations for medical tourism.

The chairman further confirmed that this collaboration will help the economy flourish and provide individuals from other countries with high-quality healthcare services.
