Dollar Rate Slightly Increases in Egyptian Banks

The Egyptian Pound (EGP) rose somewhat versus the US Dollar (USD) in early trade on Monday, April 15, 2024.

The National Bank of Egypt, the Commercial International Bank (CIB), and the Faisal Islamic Bank have raised their purchase and sale rates to EGP 47.50 and EGP 47.60, respectively, from EGP 47.53 and EGP 47.63 before the holidays.

Meanwhile, Banque Misr and Banque de Caire established purchasing and selling rates of EGP 47.46 and EGP 47.56, respectively. The United Bank also established a buy rate of EGP 47.50 and a sale rate of EGP 47.60.

QNB ALAHLI and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank have set the buying rate at EGP 47.55 and the selling rate at EGP 47.65.

The Arab African International Bank has set its buying rate at EGP 47.52 and its selling rate at EGP 47.62.

The Housing and Development Bank provided lower rates, with a buy rate of EGP 47.33 and a sell rate of EGP 47.43.
