The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has suspended all banks operating in Egypt from May 5 until 6 in observance of Labor Day and Sham El Nassim.

This means that all bank branches and services will remain closed during this period and will reopen on Tuesday, May 7.

The CBE has urged customers to plan their financial transactions accordingly and assured them that all services will return to normal from May 7.
