Hoda Dahroug: Youth Skill Development is the Pillar of Digital Transformation; “Masarak Le Bokra” is a Step Toward the Jobs of the Future
Cairo – July 1, 2026
Engineer Hoda Dahroug, Consultant to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Digital Community Development and Regional Director of the “Digital Transformation for Sustainable Development” project, praised the efforts of the Top 50 Most Influential Women Forum in launching the “Building an Integrated Professional Personality” program. This program is part of the “Masarak Le Bokra” (Your Path to Tomorrow) initiative, which Dahroug described as a successful model of collaboration between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Forum. The initiative aims to qualify youth for the labor market, meet the demands of the digital economy, and enhance the readiness of human capital to support Egypt’s digital transformation journey.
Dahroug emphasized that this training journey represents an enlightened path, reflecting the MCIT’s commitment to investing in people. She pointed out that digital transformation is no longer limited to developing technological infrastructure; it is fundamentally rooted in human development, which serves as the primary cornerstone for achieving sustainable growth.
She added that the Ministry is dedicated to providing the necessary support for young men and women through specialized training programs and initiatives. These efforts focus on developing both technical and soft skills, enabling youth to utilize technology efficiently and compete effectively in local and regional labor markets.
Dahroug explained that the various tracks and programs implemented by the Ministry support the state’s national strategy for digital transformation and prepare the youth for the jobs of the future. She noted that human-centric development is the main driver for enhancing Egypt’s competitiveness both domestically and internationally.
Furthermore, she highlighted that the MCIT provides diverse learning and training opportunities through the “Digital Egypt” (Misr Al-Raqmeya) initiatives, which receive full support from the Egyptian government. She concluded by stating that the initiative’s slogan—”Your Path… Your Decision… Your Choice”—embodies the provision of diverse training tracks tailored to the needs and abilities of different segments, ensuring the preparation of a workforce capable of leading the digital shift and supporting the digital economy.
The Top 50 Most Influential Women Forum launched the “Masarak Le Bokra” initiative today, Wednesday, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Institute of National Planning (INP) as the strategic academic partner. The initiative aims to support, qualify, and empower youth to keep pace with future labor market requirements through specialized training programs that combine technological skills, practical application, and professional mentorship.
The launch event featured the first training program under the initiative, titled “Building an Integrated Professional Personality.” The program targets 1,000 students and fresh graduates, with 100 trainees per cycle, through a comprehensive 60-day curriculum that includes hands-on training within major institutions and corporations.
This program comes as a response to the rapid changes in the labor market, blending specialized technological training with professional development and direct mentorship from leaders across various economic sectors. This approach helps bridge the gap between academic output and market needs, ensuring youth are ready to engage in the digital economy.
The launch ceremony was attended by Dr. Hala El-Said, Consultant to the President of the Republic for Economic Affairs, alongside senior officials from the Ministry of Communications, university presidents, distinguished influencers, trainers, and the students enrolled in the training program.
