e-finance for Digital and Financial Investments, along with its sister company eHealth, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity and the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance (GAHI). The MoU, which was finalized during GAHI’s annual forum, aims to integrate Egypt’s comprehensive health insurance systems with the national social protection network.
The collaboration also includes a contract between GAHI and eHealth to provide operational services for the comprehensive health insurance system, leveraging eHealth’s digital infrastructure to expand the system’s reach across the country.
Ibrahim Sarhan, Chairman and Managing Director of e-finance, expressed: “This agreement further strengthens our group’s role in delivering a wide range of services to citizens across various sectors, especially in the healthcare field. Through eHealth’s collaboration with GAHI, we are supporting the state’s ongoing efforts to enhance public service delivery for all citizens.”
Akram Reda, CEO of eHealth, remarked, “Our goal is to expand the reach of our digital services nationwide, aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030 objectives to improve access to digital healthcare. By working with GAHI, eHealth provides specialized digital solutions aimed at enhancing service quality and achieving financial sustainability through better resource management, ultimately empowering the authority.”
