WEN Forum Spotlights Women Entrepreneurs, Fostering Inclusive Growth

The Women’s Entrepreneurship Network (WEN) recently hosted a forum that celebrated the achievements of successful women leaders and underscored the importance of networking in driving women’s entrepreneurship in Egypt.

The event featured inspiring talks from prominent figures such as Mrs. May Mahmoud, General Director of the Women Business Development Center, and Mrs. Dalia Ibrahim, board member of WEN and Chairwoman of Dar Nahdet Misr Publishing House. Actress and entrepreneur Bushra Rozza also shared her experiences, providing valuable insights for aspiring female entrepreneurs.

Empowering the Next Generation Mrs. Noha Abdel Hamid, co-founder and president of WEN, emphasized the power of storytelling and the importance of creating a supportive environment for women entrepreneurs. She highlighted the network’s commitment to providing resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help women succeed.

“We believe that every woman has the potential to be a successful entrepreneur,” said Abdel Hamid. “By sharing our stories and experiences, we can inspire and empower the next generation of female leaders.”

A Collaborative Approach The forum also underscored the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors. Dr. Hala Barakat, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the AUC School of Business, stressed the need for universities to play a more active role in nurturing women-led businesses.
