The National Council for Women convened its regular meeting under the leadership of Deputy Chairperson Counselor Sana Khalil. The meeting was attended by council members and the Secretary-General, Iman Khalifa, who gathered to discuss the council’s efforts over the past period and outline the upcoming work plan.
During the meeting, Counselor Khalil presented a report on recent initiatives and achievements. She highlighted the council’s commitment to empowering women and promoting gender equality. Members discussed current programs, their impacts, and areas that need improvement.
Moreover, members actively contributed insights and suggestions for future initiatives. The council aims to enhance women’s roles in society by focusing on education, health, and economic participation. They also discussed launching new campaign as part of the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
Looking ahead, the council identified several strategic priorities for the upcoming period. These include strengthening partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations, launching awareness campaigns, and implementing training programs to develop women’s skills.
Counselor Khalil thanked all members for their dedication and hard work. She reiterated the council’s mission to advocate for women’s rights and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making.
