Al-Mashat Continues to Meet with Officials from International Organizations, the Private Sector, and Governments

“Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation discusses cooperation opportunities with MasterCard International to support digital transformation and entrepreneurship,” “Al-Mashat” said in reference to her counterpart in Jordan discussing combined efforts to enhance economic development.

Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, continued her meetings with representatives of governments, the private sector, and international institutions during her participation in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and the “Summit of the Future” in New York.

According to SiS website “Al-Mashat” meets with the Vice President of the African Development Bank (AFDB), the Director of the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI), the President of the Women Political Leaders Foundation (WPL), and the Vice President of the African Development Bank (AFDB).

The Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Ms. Zeina Toukan, met with the Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation. Within the context of the close relations between Egypt and Jordan, they talked about joint relations and enhancing cooperation between the two sides to advance joint development efforts.

Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat stressed the value of the two nations’ cooperative relations and shared files, particularly in light of their desire to advance strengthening their partnership in areas such as commerce, investment, and economics through a variety of channels, chief among them the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee, which convened for its thirty-second session in May.
