The National Council for Women, headed by Dr. Maya Morsi and all its members, congratulated the athlete Ibtisam Zayed for winning the race and earning a gold medal in the World Grand Prix Track Cycling Championship in Poland.
In her statement on Sunday, Dr. Maya Morsi expressed her great happiness and pride in this honorable victory for champion Ibtisam Zayed, who raised Egypt’s name and elevated the country’s status among international sporting forums, stressing that it is a new victory for Egyptian girls.
Notably, Ibtisam Zayed is participating in the tournament in preparation for qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics, where the tournament will take place with the participation of Egypt, France, Ukraine, Slovakia, and Turkmenistan, in addition to Poland, the hostess country.
