Dr. Hoda Yassi, President of the Arab Women Investors Union, signed two cooperation agreements with the business community in St. Petersburg, Russia, signed by Irina Vorontsova, and the Russian Businesswomen’s Federation, signed by Elena Kalinina.
The signing came during Dr. Hoda Yassi’s participation as an official speaker at the 29th International Conference on Women in St. Petersburg, Russia, held under the slogan “Science for Women and Women for Science”.
The two agreements include organizing conferences, activities, workshops, and meetings, participating in establishing medium and small industrial projects, in addition to youth exchange to support and exchange cultural relations and introduce various civilizations between Russia and Egypt.
Dr. Hoda Yassi stated that these two agreements aim to organize contracts to support trade exchange and establish joint investment projects as part of the results of the Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Conference “Youth, the Focus of Development, Opportunities and Challenges” in its 26th session, which took place during the period from October 30 to November 3 in Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai Governorate.
In addition, that step aims to encourage and develop cooperation and partnership mechanisms in the field of investment, trade, tourism of all kinds, and religious tourism within the framework of the “Alashanek Aa Balady” initiative, launched by the Union in cooperation with the Businesswomen’s Association for Development and with the support and sponsorship of the Egyptian Minister of Aviation.
