The winners of the 2nd edition of the Egypt Fashion Awards were unveiled in a ceremony at the Mall of Arabia in the presence of a large number of fashion enthusiasts, actors, and the press.
According to the Sada El Balad website, 20 designers in youth fashion design, jewelry, and accessories displayed their design collection on that magical autumn night.
The second edition is supported by The Four Seasons Hotel First Residence, Kriss, Nile FM, Nogoum FM, Pashion, and Cairo West. It is sponsored by The Egyptian Fashion and Design Council, Marakez, Mall of Arabia, the British Council Egypt, and SS Consulting (SSC).
Lebanese designer Rami Salamoun and co-founder of the Cairo Design District Walid Khairy, Egyptian actresses Injy El Mokkadem, Hanady Mehanna, and HRH Princess Fawzia Fouad Farouk all served as the judges at the event and chose the winners.

The winners will take part in Pure London, the biggest clothes trade fair in the UK. This involvement is a crucial step in encouraging the local industry to support designers in their efforts to learn about the international market and to export, which is an essential step for the Egyptian economy and the fashion industry.
