Egypt makes a bid host 2027 Africa Cup of Nations

In an official letter to the African Football Confederation (CAF), Egypt requested to host the Africa Cup of Nations in 2027.

On Thursday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed a list of nations that have expressed interest in hosting AFCON 2027.

Algeria, Botswana, and a combined application from three East African nations – Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda – are among those on the list.

“The Confederation of African Football has received declarations of interest from six countries for the hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2027,” the Confederation of African Football said in a statement.
