Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar asserted the importance of expanding Egyptian-Indian investments, topped by investment in manufacturing vaccines and medications as per directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
He pointed out the big support of the political leadership to offer all possible facilitations to render investment projects successful.
Abdel Ghaffar’s remarks came on March 25 at activities to announce the launch of the first production line of Hepatitis B virus, Pentavalent vaccines, and other kinds of vaccinations, with a production capacity of 100 million doses annually.
The minister indicated that this move is meant to help Egypt become a hub for launching trade cooperation between India and the African continent.
For his part, Indian Ambassador to Egypt Ajit Gupte commended extending investment partnerships with the Egyptian state.
The line is launched in cooperation between VACSERA and the Serum Institute of India.
