Two Egyptian startup among the eight MENA ventures will participate in the Saudi-based Mega Green Accelerator. This climate-focused program, launched by PepsiCo, SABIC, AstroLabs, and partners, aims to empower innovators developing solutions to tackle climate change.
The Mega Green Accelerator provides a six-month intensive program for selected startups. It offers funding, mentorship from industry experts, and crucial market access to help them scale their innovative climate solutions. Later on this year, a single winning company will be awarded US$30,000 to further expand their operations.
These eight ventures were selected from a pool of 363 submissions from sustainable startups across the MENA region. Joining startups from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon are the two Egyptian and one Tunisian participants.
Egyptian Green Tech startups, Viridia Tech and P-VITA, are selected for the MENA-focused Mega Green Accelerator program. Viridia Tech is an Egyptian startup provides a large-scale crop analytics platform specifically for industrial agricultural companies. Meanwhile, P-VITA is a biotech hub specializes in using AI and IoT technologies to produce natural raw materials for the cosmetics and food & beverage industries, promoting sustainable practices.
