The Egyptian Minister of Environment, Yasmine Fouad, emphasized the significance of enhancing the green industry, lowering pollution levels, and addressing the adverse effects of climate change.
She also underscored the importance of adhering to international commitments and expressed a commitment to advancing industrial initiatives aimed at exporting Egyptian products to the global market.
According to Egyptian Gazette during the inauguration of the “Industry and Environment for Green Development” conference in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) on Monday, Fouad made notable remarks. The conference, organized by the Ministry, was graced by the presence of Minister of Planning and Economic Development and International Co-operation Rania al-Mashat.
Fouad stated that her ministry is actively working to carry out the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, focusing on the advancement of individuals through the implementation of green technology initiatives and the provision of employment opportunities. Mashat affirmed the significant and interconnected relationship between industrial progress and human development.
