US First Lady Visits Elsewedy School, Lauds Skills of Egyptian Youth

First Lady of the United States Jill Biden visited Elsewedy School of Applied Technology on Saturday and praised the great talents of Egyptian youth.

Mrs. Biden was accompanied by Minister of Education and Technical Education Reda Hegazy and a host of respective officials.

Following her tour, she stated on her personal Twitter Account: Young people like Basmala and Ahmed are the future and the present here in Cairo.

She added: Together, the United States and Egypt are working with local companies to bring on-the-job training to the classroom.

Jill Biden arrived in Cairo on Friday on the second leg of her six-day trip across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.
