This is one of the greatest things I have achieved in my life, and I’d like to especially thank Mido El Shwekh for his efforts with me to play as I did in the audition, and for the welcoming and kind person he is, it’s a pleasure to know him. I would like to thank Prof. Medhat Abdel-salam for his efforts with me as well, and for lifting my spirits and making me believe in myself when sometimes I felt unqualified for this position, it all came together because of them.”
It is worth mentioning that Sorour participated in the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade, playing a solo piece composed by Hesham Nazih, accompanied by the Egyptian United Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by renowned maestro Nader Abbassi, according to the “Egypt Today” website.
