Yesterday, Major General Dr. Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, inspected the development work of the Women’s Empowerment Building in Dahab and the training courses being implemented in the building, according to El Youm 7.
The governor praised the training courses organized for Sinai women and young people to prepare and qualify them for the labor market. He stressed his constant keenness to support women in the governorate and to facilitate all marketing procedures for handicrafts and various crafts, emphasizing that these trainings are being organized free of charge for both young men and women.
In alignment with his future career aspirations, he mentioned that both male and female trainees at the advanced level are being coordinated with the Labor Directorate in the governorate.
Major General Abdel-Rahman Bahaa El-Din, the city’s head, stated that the building has been renovated and upgraded to facilitate the organization of training courses.

The Women’s Empowerment Building is equipped with a comprehensive set of facilities, including a room for teaching pattern drawing for sewing training, a cutting room, a room for sewing and embroidery machines, a meeting room, and a room for computer training.
These rooms are not just standard but are equipped to the highest standard, ensuring that the trainees have access to the best resources for their learning and development.
He further explained that two training courses are being implemented in coordination with the Directorate of Labor and the Directorate of Education, one of which is for training in sewing, targeting breadwinner women and Bedouin women.
The Labor Directorate is providing materials for a second course aimed at young people of both sexes. The course will train them in various computer programs over the course of an entire month. The governor also met with the trainers and the building’s conference hall. During the meeting, he listened to their opinions and demands, directed the provision of all raw materials needed by the training programs, and ordered the disbursement of lucrative rewards to the trainees. At the end of the meeting, the governor was presented with a Bedouin abaya as a token of appreciation and gratitude from the people.
